High School
Storytelling for Careers

Grades 9 – 12

Your story. Your voice. Your future.

Mosaic's high school curriculum connects digital storytelling to real creative careers — with industry mentors, professional-quality tools, and projects that live well beyond the classroom.

About the Program

At the high school level, digital storytelling isn't just an introduction — it's a launchpad. Programs are customizable to fit your classroom and curriculum, running two weeks or longer as students move through the full storytelling process: developing ideas, planning, creating, and refining a final project. Along the way, they build the technical skills, creative voice, and professional exposure they need to step into college programs, apprenticeships, and careers in film, media, and beyond.

Our teaching artists bring everything needed to run the program directly into your classroom — equipment, curriculum, and industry-informed mentorship — fully aligned to your subject and standards, so the program strengthens what you're already teaching rather than replacing it.

The full high school experience

Storytelling for Careers is the foundation. From here, students can go further with Mosaic's other high school programs, including Mosaic Mobile, the Mosaic Event, and Living Histories, each designed to build real portfolios, real experience, and real relationships in the industry.

“Seeing my creative vision come to life through the social media assignment felt incredible — it was like I could finally express something through my own eyes. I especially loved the student-directed portion, which balanced out the mentored, learning-focused parts of the experience.”

We meet young people where they are, and we look at the whole student, not just the classroom moment, but every touchpoint where we can encourage, equip, and empower them to shape their own story.
