WEATHERING EMOTIONS

Explore "Weathering Emotions," the i understand Kimberly Mutch Bergner Mental Wellness Exhibit at the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. This interactive exhibit, designed to help children and families "weather life's storms," uses the lens of weather to explore mental wellness. As a Mosaic Community Project, we partnered with WMCAT students to bring its story to life. Special thanks to: i understand, the Grand Rapids Children's Museum, CARNEVALE, and META4MAT for their invaluable contributions.

GREENSCREEN PROJECT

The Mosaic Film Experience partnered with The Belonging Initiative for the GR Greenscreen project, an interactive installation that allowed community members to express their sense of belonging in West Michigan. Participants brought their messages to life using a mobile app, igniting engaging conversations about creativity, learning, and the importance of fostering a sense of belonging.

RECAP: An Evening with Oscar Winner and Filmmaker Kevin Willmott

In collaboration with The Midwest Tech Project, West Michigan residents had the opportunity to spend an insightful evening with 2018 Oscar winner Kevin Willmott at Studio Park. Awarded a 2018 Academy Award for co-writing BlacKkKlansman with Spike Lee, Kevin shared how his humble Kansas origins inspired him to tell stories and write screenplays that no one else was writing.
