The Mosaic Film Experience Event is an interactive experience that provides students access to industry professionals through creative, career-inspiring workshops. This unique, one-day experience brings the power of digital media and content creation to youth. Programming provides students with access to passionate digital media professionals, media literacy resources, and opportunities to tell their own unique stories. This year’s event will feature a screening and conversation around the insightful and engaging new Starz series, “America to Me.” We’re also happy to have guests from HBO and Hollywood Costume Concept Artist Phillip Boutte Jr.
The Mosaic Film Experience Event will also feature a screening of Mosaic Mobile finalists and announcement of the winners.
Cost is $10 per person and includes lunch. Seating is limited to 300 participants. November 7 is specific to Kent ISD and West Michigan Schools. November 8 is reserved for Grand Rapids Public Schools.

Mosaic Mobile is an annual mobile film competition that develops students’ storytelling skills. All Mosaic Mobile films are shot, edited, and entered on mobile devices.
The Mosaic Film Experience uses the platform of digital media to provide students with an opportunity to tell their unique stories and equip them with the critical thinking, collaborative, and creative skills necessary for career preparedness.
